After catching the Euro 2016 match between England and Slovakia in Saint-Etienne, France, on Monday night, he was due to fly home this morning for a private birthday celebration with his family.
Surrounded by everything he loves: his wife, his children, and team England. We couldn't imagine a better birthday if we tried.
