While Siddharth and Roshni are occupied with the Engagement Function with their Families, Durgadevi and Krrish are caught up with wanting to stop this wedding. Krrish later feels that Durgadevi's Plan will take an excess of time and chooses to Proceed with his Own Plan. He plans to kill Siddharth by burning him alive in his room. He Lights the whole room not realizing that it is Roshni who is Present in the room and not Siddharth. Roshni starts screaming out of trepidation and Siddharth instantly Jumps into the burning room and spares Roshni. In the interim, Durgadevi gets the News that her daughter's life is in danger and she runs towards Siddharth's house to see Roshni.
Siddharth and others at last unwind when the doctor told them that Roshni is totally alright, Siddharth goes out to leave the doctor and in transit he meets Durgadevi. At first he blames her for creating the flame in the room at the same time, later when he sees her shoeless he understands that she had come running for her daughter. He tries to persuade her to be a piece of the marriage however Durgadevi haughtily adheres to her own choice. Later, Durgadevi yells at her family members and tries to prevent them from going for the wedding, yet simply then "dadi" arrives and announces that every one of them will go for the wedding. Durgadevi gets stunned when she sees every last bit of her relatives taking the side of "dadi" and conflicting with her wish. Later the "haldi" Gunction for the marriage starts.
