Bhabho tells her family that she wonders if she has been harsh on Shweta, so Tara and Brijesh assure her that she has not. Brijesh goes to talk to Aditya but the latter accuses the family of snatching away everything from him. Aditya then says that seeing Shweta in pain makes him happy! Aditya promises Brijesh that the day Shweta is bestowed with abundance of happiness he will ruin her life by telling her that her mother is alive and in jail! Meanwhile, Kamini phones Shweta, who informs her that Aditya had seen her in the disco last night. Kamini asks Shweta to come to a new disco but Shweta replies that she cannot. Kamini mocks at her misfortune. On the other hand, Shweta refuses to have dinner unless Bhabho apologises to her. Later, Tara informs the family that Sawri has spoilt Shweta because she always supports Shweta! Meanwhile, Sawri writes a letter to Saloni saying she has been misunderstood by the family and fears that Shweta may get distanced from the family and take a wrong step. The next morning, Bhabho asks Sawri to deck up Shweta. Sawri has no idea what's happening. Meanwhile, the priest assumes Sawri to be the girl and remarks to Bhabho that Sawri is dark, so Bhabho replies that Sawri is their maid's daughter, and her granddaughter Shweta is very fair. The priest then informs Shweta that he has brought the proposal of a very nice boy for her. Shweta is aghast and asserts that she will not meet any boy, leave alone marrying him! Tara warns Shweta not to create a scene, so Shweta walks away in a huff!
Shweta tells Sawri that, come what may, she will not get married! She asserts that she will live life the way she wants to, and asks Sawri to support her. Shweta begs Sawri to rescue her, so Sawri says that she will try to convince Bhabho. However, when Sawri requests Bhabho to rethink her decision, Bhabho retorts that everything is being done for Shweta's good. She then reminds Sawri that she's being tolerated only because of Shweta and warns her that if she instigates Shweta, then she will be thrown out of the house! Tara too scolds Sawri. Sawri prays to the goddess to help her fulfil her promise made to her mother. Vaidehi comes then and tries to convince Sawri that the elders don't wish ill for Shweta. Later, when Shweta refuses to get dressed for the evening to see the boy, Sawri convinces her to at least see the boy. Meanwhile, Brijesh scolds Aditya for going out just when the boy and his family were going to come but Aditya asserts that he does not care about Shweta! On the other hand, the boy's family are happy to see Shweta. Shweta and the boy, Aman, are given time to talk to each other. Shweta is pleased to see that Aman's way of thinking is liberal. Once they return, Bhabho tells Aman's father that they want to go ahead with the marriage and don't have to seek Shweta's opinion. However, Aman says that he wants to tell them something. What is in Aman's mind?
Aman tells Bhabho and others that he will not agree for the wedding until Shweta gives her consent. Everyone is happy when Shweta finally agrees. Later, Shweta tells Sawri that she was pleased hearing Aman's views. Sawri hopes that Shweta's hasty decision won't prove to be unwise. Brijesh tells Tara that he will inform Narpat and Ambica about Shweta's marriage, although Tara does not want to maintain ties with them. Kaveri answers the phone and he informs her about everything. Kaveri informs Kamini about Shweta's marriage. Bhabho and Tara are not too happy when Shweta insists that Sawri also give her opinion about the sarees and jewellery. Bhabho tells Shweta that Sawri has work to do. Just then, Aditya arrives and Tara warns him to stay at home in the evening to fix Shweta's marriage but Aditya walks away. Meanwhile, Aman's paternal uncle (Pankaj Kalra) comes home. Aman's mother recalls then that it is his wife death anniversary, so they cannot fix Aman's wedding on the same day, but Aman's uncle assures everyone that it's fine. Sawri decks up Shweta and the sisters share an emotional moment together. Shweta wishes that they would get married into the same home! Later, in the evening, Aman and his family come to Bhabho's house to fix the marriage. Shweta and Aman go to seek the blessing of the goddess. Aman's father then says that he has a condition before the marriage is fixed. He says that he wants Sawri to marry his widowed younger brother! Sawri and the family are stunned!.
