The warning followed recent attacks by the herdsmen on farmers and villagers in both regions.
In a statement by its spokesman, General Ben in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, the group admonished the Federal Government to tell Nigerians who Fulani herdsmen were or the rate of killings and kidnapping of the “so-called herdsmen,” would be unprecedented.
Ben said, “After two weeks, starting from today, Tuesday, May 3, we are going to search for Fulani herdsmen. Since Federal Government cannot tell us who they are up till now, we are going to look for them.
“The Fulani herdsmen have indirectly challenged us, asking us what can we do. But, we promise them that we will not allow them to go without taking revenge. It is an insult and we will give them back.”
The militants while describing the attacks as provocative and challenging, vowed to retaliate if the herdsmen remain in the region two weeks from now.
