Savita is taken aback as Manav breaks all ties with her and asks her to leave. Archana is upset and holds herself responsible for the rift between Manav and Savita. Archana tells everything to Sulochana and also informs about Savita's forgetful behavior of late. Manav is disturbed because of his behavior towards Savita but Archana calms him. Savita is very depressed.
Dharmesh's mother questions him about Vaishali. The neighborhood ladies start speaking filth on seeing Manav and Vaishali together. Manav and Vaishali feel disgusted on hearing this. Manav asks Vaishali to go and stay at Karanjkar house to avoid any speculations. Archana comes and condemns Manav's decision. Archana makes Manav realize that they should not get bothered by any baseless speculations. The neighbors gather and protest against Manav and Vaishali. Rasika too comes there and tries to take advantage of the situation by blaming Manav.
Everyone blames Manav of having an illegitimate affair with Vaishali. Manav refuses to give any justification about why Vaishali is staying with them. Savita comes there and gets furious to hear the sleazy comments. Savita gives a fitting reply to one and all. Vandita gets furious as Rasika again speaks ill about Manav. Vandita loses her cool and speaks rudely with Rasika. Ajit gets furious and slaps Vandita for this. Varsha comes to Archana's house but gives a cold shoulder to Vaishali. Vaishali tries in vain to convince Varsha but she refuses to talk to her. Savita too ignores Manav when she meets him in the market.
