Tuesday On Saloni (830-832)

It is Shweta's (Amrapali Dubey) 18th birthday, and a grand party is held for her. Brijesh asks Shweta to cut the cake but she waits for Sawri to come. Shweta and Sawri (Rachana Parulkar) feed each other, but Tara and Bhabho are not happy to see this. Kamini comes just then. Bhabho and Pia complain about Kamini's short dress. Narpat and his family too arrive just then. Brijesh is upset that Aditya is not around. Although others don't wish Sawri, Narpat and Ambica wish her. Ambica gives her the same pendant that she'd given Saloni on her 18th birthday. Ambica recalls how Saloni had returned it to her and asked her to give her daughter for her 18th birthday. Sawri misses Saloni but assures her grandparents that she did everything only for Shweta's happiness. Traditional folk musicians begin to dance and sing. Even Shweta begins to tap her feet, so Bhabho sternly warns her that daughters from respectable families do not dance in public! Shweta feels bad. Kamini complains to Shweta that her 18th birthday party is boring and asks her to sneak out with her to a club to celebrate like a typical 18 year old!

Sawri writes a letter to Saloni telling her about Shweta's and her birthday celebrations. She says that she is pleased about having fulfilled her promise to look after Shweta. Sawri then goes to give Shweta her gift when she sees Shweta sneaking out to go to a disco. Sawri protests, so Shweta tells her that she has a right to enjoy on her birthday and leaves. On the other hand, Bhabho comes to Shweta's room with a glass of milk, so Sawri hides under the blanket pretending to be asleep. Shweta goes to the discotheque and has a superb time with Kamini and her friends. Kamini promises to show her how life can be enjoyed to the fullest. Just then, Shweta spots Aditya (Aditya Redij) sitting nearby and is scared. However, it's too late as Aditya sees her leaving the discotheque. Shweta returns home and tells Sawri that she had the best time of her life! Just then, Bhabho switches on the light, so Sawri lies to her that she had come to take water. However, Bhabho scolds her and tells her that she is lying. The next morning, Aditya returns home drunk, so everyone yells at him. Aditya warns them not to blame him alone and informs them that even Shweta was in the same disco as he was, last evening! Bhabho chides Shweta for disgracing the family and then scolds Sawri for supporting Shweta! Bhabho orders Shweta to go to her room and not get out of the house. Shweta goes to her room and is agitated! Sawri comes then, so Shweta asks her why she cannot enjoy her birthday, and complains about the gender discrimination! Sawri explains that everyone is more hurt about her lying to them and breaking their trust. Shweta tells her that she's the only one who understands her.

Bhabho tells her family that she wonders if she has been harsh on Shweta, so Tara and Brijesh assure her that she has not. Brijesh goes to talk to Aditya but the latter accuses the family of snatching away everything from him. Aditya then says that seeing Shweta in pain makes him happy! Aditya promises Brijesh that the day Shweta is bestowed with abundance of happiness he will ruin her life by telling her that her mother is alive and in jail! Meanwhile, Kamini phones Shweta, who informs her that Aditya had seen her in the disco last night. Kamini asks Shweta to come to a new disco but Shweta replies that she cannot. Kamini mocks at her misfortune. On the other hand, Shweta refuses to have dinner unless Bhabho apologises to her. Later, Tara informs the family that Sawri has spoilt Shweta because she always supports Shweta! Meanwhile, Sawri writes a letter to Saloni saying she has been misunderstood by the family and fears that Shweta may get distanced from the family and take a wrong step. The next morning, Bhabho asks Sawri to deck up Shweta. Sawri has no idea what's happening. Meanwhile, the priest assumes Sawri to be the girl and remarks to Bhabho that Sawri is dark, so Bhabho replies that Sawri is their maid's daughter, and her granddaughter Shweta is very fair. The priest then informs Shweta that he has brought the proposal of a very nice boy for her. Shweta is aghast and asserts that she will not meet any boy, leave alone marrying him! Tara warns Shweta not to create a scene, so Shweta walks away in a huff!.
