The neighboring ladies too start gossiping about Manav and Vaishali. Archana gets bothered by this. Savita feels bad on knowing that it wasn't Manav but Archana's idea to let her do the inauguration. Sulochana calls up at Dharmesh's place and inquires about Vaishali. Sulochana as well as Dharmesh's mother are clueless about Vaishali's whereabouts. Satish advises Varsha to take up a job as Bhavna keeps bothering her for a grandchild. Archana, Manav and Vaishali come to the Karanjkar house. Vaishali gets stunned as Sulochana informs her that she had called Dharmesh's mother. Manav and Archana too are tensed on knowing this.
Archana tells Manav that till Vaishali is staying with them, he should go and stay with Savita and Damodar every alternate day. The ladies of the neighborhood gossip a lot about Vaishali and Manav. Ajit meets some of his old pals who ask him to start gambling again but he refuses. Dharmesh's mother sees Manav and Vaishali together at a restaurant and misunderstands them. Savita gets emotional when Manav comes to stay with her. Manav too is touched and expresses his gratitude to Archana.
Savita starts forgetting things. Dharmesh's mother comes to Karanjkar house and questions about Vaishali. Sulochana informs her that Vaishali is with Archana and Manav. Dharmesh's mother gets even more suspicious. Savita forgets that Manav is going to come the next day, and instead prepares all his favorite dishes on the very same day. Dharmesh's mother comes to the chawl and again sees Vaishali along with Manav and Archana.
