In a new interview with ABC News' Robin Roberts, set to air on 20/20 Tuesday, Bobby Brown, implicates Nick Gordon in the deaths of both his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, and their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. "It's not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney," Brown, 47, told Roberts.
"There's only one person that was around on both occasions," he added, to which Roberts replied, "You won't say his name – Nick Gordon is who you're referring to."
"I won't say his name," Brown said.
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Gordon's attorney, Jose Baez said: "We have repeatedly said that Nick Gordon is innocent of any wrongdoing. He has not been charged with any crime. Enough is enough; let's end this baseless speculation."
Houston – who raised Gordon – died in 2012 at age 48 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel. Officials announced that the legendary singer died of an accidental drowning. Contributing factors included heart disease and cocaine use, an investigation found.
On July 26, 2015, Bobbi Kristina died nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home. She was 22. The Fulton County Medical Examiner found she died from a combination of drowning and drug intoxication.
Gordon, who was Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend and lived with her at the time she was found unresponsive, has denied all wrongdoing and has not been charged by authorities in connection with her death.
In an April episode of The Dr. Phil Show Gordon, 26, said: "Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney's last few years on earth as happy as they would be. I gave them somebody to trust to, to talk to, to be there, someone genuine."
Following Gordon's appearance on the talk show, Brown joined his daughter's conservator as a plaintiff in the $50 million wrongful death civil suit against Gordon.
The renewed motion states that "the defendant ignores this Court's mandates but freely discusses his role in the incident which led to the horrific injuries to Decedent Bobbi Kristina Brown on public television" and "fully and freely discusses the version of the facts and circumstances which gave rise to this litigation."
