Fred Amata sworn in as DGN President

Renowned nollywood actor, Fred Amata, has been sworn in as the President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, DGN.
The actor cum director was sworn in alongside other elected members of the national executive of the guild at the Ojez Lounge situated in the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos state on Friday.
DAILY POST recalls that Amata emerged the winner after beating Lancelot Imasuen with 48 votes to the latter’s 43 votes on February 26.


Dickson Ireogbu and Kingsley Omefe got 3 and 7 votes respectively in the election held at the Tourist Garden Hotels and Resort, Asaba, Delta State.
The ‘Son Of Devil’ actor succeeded Andy Amenechi who resigned as the president of the guild.
Amata took his oath which was administered by Babatunde Ogala.
Other members of the excos include Mike Ogunwusi, as Vice President, Oduala Taiwo, Public Relations Officer, Ugezu Ugor, Secretary, and Uchenna Agbo, as Assistant Secretary.
