Sagar refuses to believe that a family member will try to kill him. Gayatri comes then and asks Sagar who the man was, so Sagar replies that he is a private detective who is investigating his accidents. Sagar mentions that Rathod has said that a family member is planning to kill him. When Hema and Harish see a dejected Chandra, they instigate her against Mahua again and sow seeds of suspicion in her. Hema subtly suggests that she get Mahua married again. Meanwhile, Gayatri informs Vidya that Sagar will soon know the truth about Sindoora and she will get a big jolt. However, Sindoora overhears their conversation and instead promises a big attack within a few hours! Chandra meets Mahua and suggests that she remarry. Even Sindoora agrees with Chandra's advice. Chandra even suggests a boy and Mahua relents. Rathod phones Sagar and assures him that his men are placed all around the house and they will nab the culprit. Sagar wakes up in the middle of the night and sees a worried Vidya praying to Lord Shambhunath to protect him. Sagar promises Vidya that nobody will ever separate them and they will always remain together. However, Sindoora goes to the storeroom and tells Salim how she had shrewdly brought him home in the afternoon itself, and asks him to go ahead with the plan. Salim covers his face and heads towards a sleeping Sagar with his knife. Will Sindoora's ploy succeed this time?
Salim sees Shalu heading towards Sagar's room, so he goes away. On the other hand, Vidya gets up with a start after having a nightmare. Vidya then goes to fetch water. She locks the storeroom door where Salim is hiding. When Vidya returns, Sagar asks her to sleep and tells her that he will return to bed after a while. Sindoora wonders why Salim is taking so long because she has not yet heard Vidya screaming. Sindoora leaves to check. Aniket wonders what Sindoora is up to. Sindoora opens the storeroom and asks Salim to do his job. Salim enters Sagar's room and starts stabbing Sagar. Vidya gets up just then and begins shrieking! Sagar comes to the room and they see Sagar's cushion being stabbed. Sindoora is convinced that her work is done and helps Salim escape. The entire family comes to Vidya's room. Sindoora too comes and asks whether Sagar is hurt. Gayatri and Vidya get suspicious. Gayatri tells everyone what had happened. Rathod informs Sagar that the man has escaped and says he cannot figure out how the man had got inside the house because they were guarding the house from evening. A hysterical Vidya blames Sagar for not telling her that he was aware he was going to be attacked! Gayatri takes Vidya to another room and assures her that Sagar is at least convinced now that someone wants to attack him. Rathod tells Sagar that the man could have reached the house earlier only if someone from his family had helped him. Sagar then sees an open lock and broken handle. After a while, he notices Sindoora take something away, so he asks her what it is. Sagar is shocked to see Aniket's amulet in Sindoora's hand!
Sindoora puts on an act of being emotional and says that had anyone seen the amulet, they would have thought that Aniket is the culprit. Sagar assures her that it must only be a coincidence and asks her to tie it around Aniket's arm. Sindoora tells a sleeping Aniket that her own man had informed the police about an impending attack on Sagar so that the needle of suspicion would move from her to him and he will be sent to prison! Meanwhile, Vidya is still shaken by the entire incident, but Sagar pacifies her. Vidya goes to feed breakfast to Aniket when he gestures her to shut the door. On the other hand, Sindoora is worried that Aniket will confide to Vidya that he's getting better and ruin her plan because she wants to prove to the family that he intentionally hid from the family about being well. Sindoora enters the room and scolds Vidya for telling him about the attack on Sagar. Aniket is taken aback. She warns Vidya not to come in her room again! Meanwhile, Hema shows Chandra the photographs of many boys. Mahua blindly picks a photograph and tells Chandra that she wants to get married in the next two days! Chandra agrees. Meanwhile, Sagar tries to cheer Vidya by displaying his histrionics in front of her. Cheenu, Bharat and Samir promise her never to let any harm befall Sagar. The next morning, Rathod informs Sagar that he suspects three of his family members. Sagar gets furious with his conclusion! Rathod stuns him by saying that he suspects Vidya to be his attacker!
