Tej arrives at the Anand Niwas chawl to celebrate Holi with Purvi and Archana. Archana gets elated to see Tej. Tejaswini gets surprised to see Manav at the spot. She believes Archana had invited Manav and other office colleagues for the Holi party. As she does not want Manav to recognize her she quickly smears her face with lots of color. Tej tells Archana that she was leaving as she came to meet Purvi's father and could not find him in the crowd. Purvi invites Arjun to join her and her family to celebrate Holi. Arjun politely refuses to accept the invitation. Purvi and Vandita plan to get Archana and Manav closer. They break the buttons from Manav's kurta without his knowledge and hand it over to him to wear it. After wearing the kurta, Manav notices that the kurta does not have buttons. He calls out to Vandita to stitch buttons on the kurta. Archana hears Manav calling out to Vandita. Archana volunteers to stitch buttons on the kurta. Purvi and Vandita are elated to see the success of their plan. Tej tells Archana that she wanted to work as a taxi driver in Mumbai; however she was doubtful about her decision. Archana explains to Tej that she should not be ashamed to taking up any work. Archana gets surprised when she notices that Purvi was wearing gold bangles. Manav and Archana get astonished to learn that Arjun had gifted the expensive bangles to Purvi. Purvi explains that she did not want to accept the bangles; however she accepted it on Vinay's insistence. She decides to return the bangles back to Arjun. Manav asks Purvi not to return them as it was a gift from Arjun. Archana supports Manav's statement. Purvi mentions to Manav and Archana that she found it awkward as Vinay wanted to weigh the bangles. Archana handles the situation by telling Purvi that Vinay belonged to a middle-class family and was just curious about his boss gifting gold bangles. Manav supports Archana's statement and states that Vinay was a good-natured person. Purvi is happy to see that Manav and Archana were supporting each other's opinion.
Manav feels awkward on hearing the statement and leaves from the room. Purvi apologizes to Archana for complimenting her and Manav. Archana replies that it was alright and goes inside the room. Sachin, who was overhearing the entire conversation, asserts that Purvi was making futile attempts to reunite Archana and Manav. He taunts that Purvi would never succeed in reuniting her parents. Damodar calls up Vandita to learn whether Archana and Manav had sorted their difference. Vandita states that the issue could be resolved only if Damodar informs the couple that Savita had created the misunderstandings between them. Damodar replies that he wanted Manav to realize Archana's sacrifice and hence was not revealing the truth. Arjun calls up on Purvi's phone. Vinay answers the call. Believing that he was talking to Purvi, Arjun states that he wanted to discuss about a certain project. Vinay informs Arjun that Purvi has left her phone on the table and hence was not available. He adds that Arjun can discuss about the project with him as Purvi would be resigning from her post within few days. Sachin rages at Archana for picking up an important file from the stable at home. Manav rages at Sachin for disrespecting Archana and talking rudely with her. Archana interrupts and asks Manav not to interfere between Sachin and her. Sachin is left confused and wonders if Archana was opposing him or supporting him. Tej manages to get a driving license and permit to drive taxi in Mumbai. She shares her happiness with Archana and Purvi. Purvi's friends from her neighborhood inform Purvi about the Cultural Event the chawl was organizing on the completion of 50 years of the chawl. They add that a builder was redeveloping their chawl and hence they wanted to honor the builder. They ask Purvi to join them in the group lavani dance during the event. Tej tells Purvi that she too wanted to participate at the event. She adds that Archana would teach her to dance. It is learnt that Arjun was redeveloping Purvi's chawl. Manav gets surprised when Arjun informs him about the redevelopment plan. Arjun tells Manav that he went to Purvi's house on Holi day and saw the condition. He adds that he thought of redeveloping the chawl. Manav believes DK would get elated to see the change in Arjun's behavior. He also informs Arjun that the residents of Purvi's chawl had invited them to be the chief guests at the Cultural Event.
