Enugu Catholic priest, and spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu state, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, has again come under fire from angry Nigerians for describing President Muhammadu Buhari as a blessing from God to the people of Nigeria.
The attack on Mbaka is sequel to a message by the fiery preacher during one of his church programmes, where he told his congregation to refrain from cursing President Muhammadu Buhari so as not to be cursed by God.
In his words: “So I want to tell you that so far, God is happy with Buhari. And him whom God has blessed, may you not try to accurse, because God will curse you.”
He also claimed that a group of people have sinister motives of assassinating the president in order to continue with their corrupt practices.
Mbaka said Jonathan and his team were responsible for Nigeria’s problems, and not the current president.
In reaction, the preacher’s message has angered some Nigerians who have called him a fake prophet for heaping praises on the Buhari administration just weeks after he castigated the same regime.
Mbaka who was once an ally of the Jonathan administration before he became one of its biggest critics was also blasted for saying the current economic challenges was as a result of the Jonathan regime.
Some of Mbaka’s critics even went as far as describing the preacher as an anti-Christ who had converted to Islam.
