When Mahua also observe the rituals on previous night before `Karva Chauth', Chandra demands to know why she is eating the special dish meant only for married women. Mahua says that is only giving everyone company. Chandra asks Harsh to feed her, so he obliges. Vidya says that she'll eat with Sindoora at the hospital.
Gayatri asks Vidya why she is helping Sindoora, so Vidya replies that in spite of everything, even Sindoora is a married woman and would want to observe the fast. On the other hand, Sindoora phones Chandra and asks her to give Aniket the medicines. Chandra sees Sindoora's suicide note and is stunned to realise that Vidya is responsible! Meanwhile at the hospital, Sindoora pretends to be deeply in pain and screams aloud in order to get rid of Hema. The nurses tend to her. Sagar, who is leaving for home, is shocked to see Sindoora in the hospital room screaming in pain! Sagar goes to her and comforts her.
He accuses Cheenu of lying to him about Sindoora being away. Sindoora insists that she be taken back home today itself. Sagar and Sindoora go home, and he accuses his family about telling him lies. Gayatri makes peace and asks Vidya to give Sindoora food. Sindoora decides to put on a charade and angrily flings the box away. When Sagar asks why Sindoora was in the hospital, Chandra replies that Sindoora had attempted suicide because of Vidya! Chandra then shows Sindoora's suicide note to Sagar. Sagar demands to know from Sindoora what Vidya had done! An inconsolable Sindoora replies that Vidya had accused her of conspiring about his accident as well as switching off the mains of his ventilator in the hospital. Sagar cannot believe his ears!
Sindoora says that she wants to die because she has begun to hate herself after the allegations that Vidya has hurled at her. Vidya tells Sagar that she had seen her switch off the ventilator but Sagar retorts that on the contrary, Sindoora had switched it on and he had seen it for himself at the hospital! He scolds her for still suspecting his sister and says that she has disappointed him.
Sindoora is triumphant! Meanwhile, Gayatri tries to pacify Vidya but Vidya says that Sindoora has succeeded in creating a distance between Sagar and her once again. Vidya tries to reason with Sagar but he orders her to apologise to Sindoora. The next morning, Vidya seeks Sagar's blessing on `Karva Chauth' and apologises to him. Vidya also apologises to Sindoora. Sindoora initially taunts Vidya but on seeing Sagar, she says that she forgives her because she can never foster hatred in her heart.
Meanwhile, Chandra taunts Mahua when she sees her decked up, so Mahua replies that it is a festive occasion, after all. Rajiv dissuades Mahua from fasting as it could create problems but she asserts that she will break her fast only after he gives her the first sip of water. Later, Sindoora tells Sagar that Vidya had accused her of trying to kill him at every step! Meanwhile, the rituals of `Karva Chauth' are observed by the married women. However, Vidya keeps waiting for Sagar. Sindoora is happy seeing this and is sure that Sagar will not let Vidya complete her fast because she has managed to poison his mind against her!
Harsh is about to give Chandra water when Mahua pretends to faint, so he gives her water! Chandra is upset and walks away. Sagar comes to the venue and lets Vidya complete the formalities of `Karva Chauth'. Vidya then asks Sagar to promise her that they will always be together, so he agrees. Sagar then asks Vidya to promise him that she will never speak ill again about Sindoora. He tells her that he worships Sindoora and wants no distance to be created between the two most important women in his life. Vidya promises that she will not speak ill about Sindoora without reason. Sindoora taunts Vidya about making a promise with a condition but Gayatri intervenes. Chandra asks Harsh why their relationship has turned so cold now but he walks away.
Rajiv feeds Mahua the first morsel and helps her break her fast. Hema and Harish witness this and click a photograph of them. Meanwhile, Vidya hopes that the accident can help her find clues to expose Sindoora. She then asks Sagar why he had crossed the line that she had drawn the other day. Sindoora overhears and says that Sagar must never be allowed to tell Vidya the truth, so Vidya must be kept away from him.
