A man phones Sagar to inform him that Sindoora has met with an accident. A worried Sagar crosses the line marked by Vidya and leaves. Bharat sees Sagar rushing out. Meanwhile, Balwant puts up an incorrect direction signboard for Kaalampur Ghat and removes it once Sagar takes the route. Balwant and his men then place a log with nails on the road and Sagar loses control of the car after going over it. Sagar's car hangs from a cliff when a truck comes from behind and pushes his car. The car explodes. On the other hand, Vidya observes all the rituals of the ceremony meant for married women. However, Sindoora intentionally drops the prayer platter. Everyone deems it a bad omen and the other married women walk away. Meanwhile, Balwant phones Sindoora to inform her that her mission has been accomplished. Sindoora is extremely happy. Vidya rushes home and is devastated to see the line near the room door smudged. She gets hysterical and accuses Bharat and Cheenu of not stopping Sagar from going out. Sindoora phones the police to trace Sagar. Vidya tells Gayatri that she is confident Sindoora is responsible. On the other hand, a young group of trekkers see a car burning and decide to phone the police. Later, the police officer phones Sindoora to inform her that they have not been able to find Sagar, so Sindoora asks him to search near Kaalampur Ghat because not many cars go that way. Vidya demands to know from Sindoora how she knows that Sagar has gone there! Sindoora replies that Sagar was in a rush to go to office and that's why he must have taken the short cut. Cheenu then informs Vidya that a car fallen in the valley is of the same model and colour as that of Sagar.
Cheenu informs his family that the police have summoned them to identify the car near Kaalampur Ghat. Meanwhile, the cop opens the car door but there is nobody in it. He says that Sagar must have fallen from a great height and they may not find the body. Vidya gets hysterical and says that Sagar is perfectly all right. Sindoora tries to convince Vidya that Sagar is no more but Vidya points a finger at her and collapses. Meanwhile, Rajiv sees Mahua crying but she asks him to leave. However, he says that he came only to stand by her in grief. On the other hand, the cops manage to find Sagar's jacket and inform Cheenu that there seems to be no hope and they have only found a bloodstained jacket. Everyone breaks down but Sindoora asks them to inform all their relatives. However, Vidya warns everybody not to because her heart says that Sagar will surely return. Vidya asserts that he had promised her he'd be fine! She vows to wait for Sagar till her last breath. Vidya then demands Lord Shambhunath to return her husband safely to her!
The cops find Sagar in a badly injured state. Meanwhile, Sindoora is busy watching a jewellery catalogue and tells Aniket that she wants to celebrate! Sindoora says that Sagar's biggest fault was that he was her stepmother's son and the heir to the entire inheritance! When the phone rings, she tells Aniket that it must be to convey the news of Sagar's death! Sindoora goes to the hospital and sheds crocodile tears at Sagar's death and at Vidya's faith in God getting shattered. However, Gayatri assures her that Vidya's faith has still not been broken. Sindoora is shocked to learn that Sagar is still alive! On the other hand, Vidya prays to Lord Shambhunath not to let any harm befall Sagar. The doctor informs the family that nothing can be said about Sagar for the next 48 hours. Harsh returns home and Chandra asks him to come to the hospital but he refuses. Rajiv then recalls how he had escaped from the hospital on seeing the cops. He wonders for how long he will remain a fugitive. The doctor says that Sagar has lost a lot of blood and asks the family to make the necessary arrangements. Vidya tells Gayatri that Sindoora is responsible for Sagar's accident, so Sindoora gets furious. Vidya accuses Sindoora of compelling Sagar to cross the line that she had drawn outside their room. When Sindoora denies it, Vidya asserts that she will not let Sagar die, and warns Sindoora that this would be her biggest defeat!
