Sindoora returns to her room and is stunned to see the transfer papers smudged. A furious Sindoora warns Aniket that he will have to pay a heavy price for what he's done. Meanwhile, Gayatri and Shalu try to convince Vidya to go home and rest. Shalu mentions that Sindoora seemed flustered and frightened because the cops had said something in the hospital. On the other hand, Chandra gives Mahua her wedding bangles and vermillion and asks her to make her home by destroying her own sister's world! Mahua is guilty and breaks down. She decides to leave home.
Gayatri assures Sagar that Sindoora will be home soon and attend the ceremony. Sindoora tells Mahua that she wants to meet Sagar, so Mahua replies that he does not know about her hospitalisation. Later, Sindoora uses Bharat to convey her message to Sagar that she wants to meet him. Bharat manages to find Sagar alone and tells him that his mother wants to meet him but Gayatri intervenes and changes the topic. Gayatri realises that although she was brushing aside Vidya's suspicions until now, Sindoora is indeed up to something drastic, and her suicide attempt was also a charade. Meanwhile, Mahua gives Rajiv a note that says she will be fasting for him. On the other hand, Sindoora and Sagar are taken to different rooms of the same laboratory for tests. Sindoora sees him but before she can meet him, Sagar is gone.
The cop asks Vidya whether she suspects anybody who could be responsible for Sagar's accident but Vidya replies that she'll talk to him later. Gayatri asks Vidya why she is still suspecting Sindoora, so she replies that she will soon find the evidence and expose Sindoora. She asserts that even Sagar will believe her this time. Sindoora overhears. Meanwhile, Rajiv sees Mahua leaving and follows her. He stops her but she asserts that she cannot break her sister's home. Rajiv then confesses that he is not Harsh but Rajiv Shukla. He narrates how Harsh had come to his town where he used to work as a security guard in a bank. Rajiv had then given him refuge in his house.
One night, Harsh wore his clothes and stole his access card to rob the bank. However, when he was escaping with the loot, the cop shot him in the leg. Harsh had left the bag and jumped into a river but by next morning, the cops had found the card and assumed Rajiv to be the thief. Rajiv had packed everything, including Harsh's diary, and decided to stay in Harsh's house. Rajiv assures Mahua that he truly loves her. Meanwhile, a worried Sindoora decides that she must win over Sagar's confidence because Vidya will be helpless then. Sindoora decides to attempt suicide and writes a note stating that she has lost her desire to live because of Vidya's allegations against her! Aniket is stunned hearing Sindoora!
Sindoora says that if her plan works out, then everybody will blame Vidya and doubt her allegations against her. Seeing Chandra approaching, she consumes few sleeping pills and drops the bottle. Sindoora collapses. However, Chandra does not see the bottle but Harsh does. Meanwhile, Vidya tells Sagar that Lord Shambhunath will make him fully all right before the occasion of `Karva Chauth' where married women fast for the long life of their husbands. Just then, Sagar holds Vidya's finger and opens his eyes slightly. The first thing he asks is how Sindoora is and insists that she be called. Gayatri agrees to call her, so Vidya requests her not to bring Sindoora here. Just then they see Sindoora on a stretcher. Later, Cheenu informs Vidya that Sindoora has regained consciousness. When Vidya and the family ask Sindoora why she had tried to kill herself, she realises that nobody had even read her suicide note blaming Vidya! Just then, Mahua comes to the room and says that Sagar has regained consciousness. Sindoora decides to target the most vulnerable person and win his confidence ' Sagar! On the other hand, the doctor advises the family not to mention about Sindoora's condition to Sagar. When Sagar asks for Sindoora, Uma lies that she has gone on a pilgrimage.
Meanwhile, Chandra thanks Harsh for saving Sindoora's life and says that she wants to forget everything and start life afresh with him. Chandra further says that she will be fasting on `Karva Chauth'. On the other hand, the doctor and Gayatri praise Vidya's faith and efforts in reviving Sagar. Gayatri says that that she has organised a party also after the rituals of `Karva Chauth' are over. Sagar tells Vidya that Sindoora has always been home for `Karva Chauth' and wonders whether she'll be present this time.

Sindoora thanks Harsh and asks Chandra to take Mahua also home. The doctor informs Sagar that he can go back home today itself. Sagar asks Cheenu to sign the discharge papers and tells him that he wants to surprise Vidya. On the other hand, Sindoora decides to go and have a talk with Sagar but the nurse casually informs her that the patient in the next room, Sagar Singh, was going to be discharged soon. Sindoora promises to give Sagar a surprise of which he'd have never even thought of!
