Promising young rapper, Teephlow has revealed in a recent interview that most of his fellow rappers are envious of him because he works with Hammer of Da Last Two Entertainment.
The plain truth is that, the young rapper is very fortunate to be signed to the Da Last Two – a record label that has grooved and natured big names like Obrafour, Edem, Sarkodie among others.
In an exlcusive interview with Gentlemen Radio’s DJ Fank Abeeku on the ‘Wack or Dope Show’, Teephlow answered a question “How do you feel working with legendary producer Da Hammer who has nurtured the likes of Sarkodie and Edem?”
He said, “I am very fortunate to be in Hammer’s camp. My colleagues envy me because of the opportunity I have to work with Hammer. I met Hammer when I was in level 300 in the university.”
Teephlow also revealed that working with Hammer is like schooling.
“Most of the artistes that passed through Hammer’s hands would attest that, working with Hammer is just like schooling. Hammer is not just a beat maker but he has in-depth knowledge in raps.”
But commenting on Teephlow’s assertion “My colleagues envy me because of the opportunity I have to work with Hammer” Communications expert and blogger, Frederick Noamesi viewed that, his statement is likely to be targeted towards awards winning rapper Kofi Kinaata.
Teephlow is well noted for ‘The Warning’ which featured Sarkodie.
