Police conspired with schoolmistress to escape after luring my 4-year-old daughter into lesbianism – Father laments

Police
Family members of an unnamed 4-year-old female pupil of Light Bearers Private School, at Isashi area of Lagos state, have called on the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Solomon Arase and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP, Owoseni Fatai, to please intervene in the case of defilement of their daughter.
This came after a 27-year-old schoolmistress, Violet Enu, reportedly absconded after she was arrested and granted bail by the police in the state for allegedly defiling the minor and luring her into lesbianism.
Vanguard reports that the suspect defiled the minor last week Thursday and had fled after the case was transferred from Badagry Magistrate’s Court to Apapa Family Court on Tuesday.

According to the report, the suspect was nowhere to be found after the victim’s parents reported at the police station on Wednesday and all attempts to trace him, proved abortive.
Her surety is equally said to be at large.
Speaking on the incident, the victim’s father, simply identified as Chief Martins, said the police allegedly connived with the suspect to escape.
He said, “In a bid to create an avenue for the suspect to escape, the police referred the case to Badagry Magistrate’s Court, when they knew that cases bordering on defilement are usually heard at family court.

“Otherwise how will a division not know that Badagry Magistrate’s Court does not treat defilement cases?
“We came back from Badagry Magistrate’s Court at about 5p.m. on Tuesday, yet the police connived with the suspect to escape.
“Sincerely, I do not understand the police’s interest in the case and why they have been persuading me to settle out of court without actually investigating to find out the motive behind the abuse.
“What if it was for ritual? They are sending different lawyers to plead with me. Why are they attempting to deny my four-year-old girl justice?
“The Police at Isashi Division have not done any investigation on the case,” Martins lamented, adding that “the only thing they followed is the Mirabel report, which proved that my daughter was actually defiled.
“They granted the suspect bail and now she is at large. Her surety is also at large.
“Meanwhile, the victim’s elder brother, who attends the same school, was sent home and prevented from attending the school’s extra-moral classes on Tuesday because of the incident,” the victim’s father decried, calling on the IGP, Solomon Arase and Lagos State CP, Owoseni Fatai, to please intervene in the case of defilement of the daughter.
