Militant group blow up NNPC oil pipeline in Warri

      

There is tension in Niger-Delta over unpaid monthly stipends – Ex-militant leaders
Niger Delta militants on Thursday launched a fresh attack on a pipeline belonging to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
The attack was carried out at about 7.40pm around Shalomi Creek in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, The Punch reports.
According to the newspaper, a senior military officer in the region who wished not to be named confirmed the incident.
