Ronke Shonde: Why autopsy stalled

Lekan-Ronke-Shonde-1
The autopsy report on late Ronke Shonde, who was allegedly killed by her husband, Lekan, two weeks ago at their Egbeda residence in Lagos State, may not be ready any time soon.
This is because the major pathologist is out of town.
“The major pathologist travelled, He will return soon to perfect the autopsy,” a source told Vanguard.

“Ordinarily, it takes between two to three days to get an autopsy report.
“Though, the bruises on the corpse did not establish that it led to her death.
“That is all we can say for now, until the boss returns any moment from now”, he added.
It was gathered that pathologists at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital had not been able to relate the death of the mother of two to the bruises on her face.

Lekan, who turned himself to the Police in Lagos, is at the State Criminal Investigation and intelligence Department, Yaba.
