Miley Cyrus and Arnold Schwarzenegger reunited on Monday, more than a year after the singer stopped dating the former governor’s son.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Cyrus and Schwarzenegger bonded in late 2014 and early 2015 as the pop star and Patrick Schwarzenegger embarked on a relationship.
She stepped out a number of times with father and son, but this week Cyrus and the elder Schwarzenegger hung out together for the first time since the romance with Patrick ended. The two crossed paths at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where NBC hosted an upfront party.
Schwarzenegger, of course, is the new host of “Celebrity Apprentice,” while Cyrus is joining “The Voice” as a full-time coach. They now share a common network, but likely had a bit more to catch up on than their latest career moves. And they weren’t shy about acting like old friends.
In a video Schwarzenegger posted to Snapchat, he happily announces, “I’m here with a great, great entertainer — one of the greatest in the world. Look at this! How beautiful and how talented she is. Eat your heart out!”
Cyrus seemed particularly amused by that last comment, which is certainly open to interpretation. For her part, the former child star, who is now back together with Liam Hemsworth, has not posted about the Schwarzenegger run-in on social media.
