The prosecutor, Cpl. Osayande Anthonia said the accused committed the offence at about 5 pm on May 9 at his apartment.
She said the accused allegedly enticed the minor, who is co-tenant’s daughter with biscuit and raped her in his living room.
She said the incident was reported at Pedro Police Station, while the accused was immediately arrested.
According to her, the offence contravened Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Ekpaye Nwachukwu, in her ruling, granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum.
She said the surety must produce evidence of tax payment to the state government as part of the bail condition.
The case was then adjourned to August 2 for mention
