Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose has spoken out in support of her father following Amber Heard's claims that the actor was emotionally and physically abusive during their relationship.Posting a throwback photo of herself as a toddler while he helps her to walk to Instagram, Lily-Rose voiced her support for her dad, captioning the snap: "My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same." She then accompanied the statement with a love heart emoji.
The 17-year-old is not the only person to support the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, as his ex-wife of 12 years Vanessa Paradis also came forward to dismiss Amber's accusation. In a letter obtained by TMZ, she wrote: "In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years.
"He is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart, that these recent allegations being made are outrageous."
Amber was granted a restraining order from the 52-year-old after appearing in court with a bruised face, claiming to have been hit by Johnny. In an affidavit, she wrote: "I live in fear that Johnny Depp will return to [our home] unannounced to terrorise me, physically and emotionally.
"During the entirety of our relationship Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me. I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him.
She also described the latest attack, and claimed that husband had thrown his phone at her and hit her in a rage, saying: "He then forcibly pulled back my hair as I attempted to stand up from the sofa. Johnny continued screaming at me, pulling my hair, striking me and violently grabbing my face."
