Kante & Mahrez win Leicester awards

N’Golo Kante has won Leicester City’s Players’ Player of the Year award, while Riyad Mahrez was named the club’s Player of the Year.

Mahrez and Kante have been two of Leicester’s standout stars in their remarkable title-winning campaign, while the Algerian was named PFA Player of the Year at the end of April.

Kante joined Leicester from Caen in a £5.6 million deal last August but has quickly developed into one of the Premier League’s leading midfielders.

Mahrez, meanwhile, was a £500,000 signing from Le Havre in January 2014 but in only his second full season in the Premier League the 25-year-old has scored 17 goals and registered 11 assists.
