Netflix's Gilmore Girls revival is one step closer to fruition.
Series star Lauren Graham revealed a new title for the upcoming project when she stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' talk show on Thursday.
The reboot, which will consist of four 90-minute movies, will be called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. That's a change from the widely rumored Gilmore Girls: Seasons, which was supposed to reflect the titles of the four upcoming movies, each believed to be named after a season (fall, winter, spring and summer).
Graham's announcement about the title also brought new key art for the project, which does not yet have a premiere date. This is the second time that DeGeneres' show — which, like Gilmore Girls, hails from Warner Bros. — has broken big news about the revival. Melissa McCarthy, who starred on the series for all seven seasons, previously announced on Ellen that she was reprising her role as Sookie St. James after months of speculation about whether or not she would return.
