According to reports, Josephine had accused her husband of attempting to marry another wife after he allegedly built a separate house other than the one they were living.
She had contacted Onyeka who joined her in killing the husband in 2008 at Azuiyiokwu in Abakaliki, the state capital.
The duo butchered the deceased and had reportedly kept his parts inside a cupboard.
The presiding judge, Justice Benson Ogbuh, delivering judgment on the case, found the accused guilty of the offence.
Ogbuh reportedly sentenced them to death by hanging.
Meanwhile, Josephine, during trial, reportedly broke down and wept uncontrollable.
She was said to have pleaded with the judge to be lenient on her because of her children.
