President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Federal Road safety Corps (FRSC) to take action on motorists caught violating traffic rules. Represented by Minister of Interior, retired Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazzau at the commissioning of 283 operational vehicles acquired by the commission in Abuja yesterday.
The president said if the menace was not checked urgently, it would remain a threat in the country.
“Despite the numerous successes recorded by the corps, there are other areas of road infractions that border on safety, requiring urgent attention of the FRSC,” he said.
