Buhari needs stronger team to justify his mandate – Agbakoba

      

A former president of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Mr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, believes that President Muhammadu Buhari had not justified his mandate since he assumed the country’s leadership, stressing that the President needs a stronger team to perform better.He handed this appraisal while speaking with journalists in Lagos yesterday, insisting that Buhari needed a stronger cabinet to move the country forward and enjoined him to ensure that he only delegates tasks and not leadership.
Stressing that the president needs to quickly assemble a stronger team as his cabinet to serve his second year in office, Agbakoba said, “I think the president needs a stronger team. So the president has to consider whether in his second year, the team he is carrying can assist him to deliver.

“It is not me to answer that question, it’s for him, but it is an important question for him to look at. But for me as a patriotic Nigerian, I want the country to work, to be strong and to be good,” the Senior Advocate added.
