Students of the Benue State University, Makurdi have shutdown the state in protest of hike in their school fees.
This is the second time the students would be protesting since the university management introduced new conditional charges that resulted in an over 400% hike in school fees early last month.
The students who are currently protesting along the highway are asking the state governor, Samuel Ortom who just returned from a short vacation to reverse the decision without delay.
