A Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwaku Boahen has called on Ghanaians to reject the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 elections since he is bereft of the needed ideas to transform Ghana.
The NDC Communicator speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Monday said his call is based on the fact that the twice defeated flagbearer of the NPP has failed to give ‘tangible reasons’ why he should be elected into office during his campaign rounds.
“For two years since his election as flagbearer, what good political message has Nana Addo given to Ghanaians…he should give us good policies and stop the try me and see…,” he said.
According to him, the Ghanaian electorate is not prepared to ‘try and see’ someone when there is clearly someone already in power who is performing creditably well.
“…We won’t go back and try people when there is someone performing better…Nana Addo should tell us what he has for us and stop the rhetoric” he added.
Kwaku Boahen further added that Nana Addo has failed to give out ‘credible policies’ because President Mahama was already executing all the ‘best policies’ needed to transform Ghana.
This claim, Member of Parliament for Tema East said was neither here nor there as Nana Addo still possessed the ‘best policies’ needed to make Ghana a better place.
“Even with the free education policy which you stole from Nana Addo, have you been able to implement it well, never and you certainly can’t but one thing I know is that Nana is coming and he would implement his original ideas and policies that would change Ghana for the better,” he said.
