200level EBSU student arrested for alleged robbery

      A 200 level student of the Department of Business Management, Ebonyi State University, EBSU, Akachukwu Agha, is currently cooling off at the police cell after being arrested for alleged robbery.
Agha was arrested on Monday during his attempt to rob one of the female hostels on Ishieke Campus of the institution.
Luck ran out on him after some persons reportedly put a distress call to the police

       While his gang members absconded, he was nabbed and taken away by the police patrol team from Ishieke Police Division.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, ASP George Okafor, who confirmed the incident, said Agha and his syndicate, now at large, had invaded the hostel and was about robbing the students when police patrol team from Ishieke Police Division received a distress call, stormed the area and arrested Agha while other members of the gang escaped.
“He is helping the police with information on how to arrest the fleeing members.
“If found wanting, he stands a chance of being suspended or expelled from the institution,” Okafor said.
