NNPC staff abducted by gunmen in Kaduna (photo)


A staff of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), identified as Yusuf Abdulkadir pictured above was reportedly abducted by gunmen at his residence in Rigachiku, Igabi LGA of Kaduna State on Saturday April 16th.

According to the Nation, Yusuf who works with the NNPC Abuja office, was trailed home by the gunmen.
"They trailed him to the house yesterday dragged him out of his car at gun point and whisked him away. He works at NNPC Towers, Abuja, but on weekends, drives to Kaduna, where his family members reside,”a family source said.
This incident comes few weeks after three pastors, Emmanuel Dziggau, Yakubu Talba Dzarma and Iliya Anto who eventually died in his abductors’ custody, were kidnapped on March 21st while another Colonel Samaila Inusa was abducted and killed in the state on March 26th.
