Nigerian Premier League Review: FC Ifeanyi Ubah now league leaders

FC IfeanyiUbah, the football club owned by Billionaire oil tycoon Ifeanyi Ubah, is now the new leaders of the Nigerian football league after they beat Plateau United 2-0 yesterday at Nnewi to surpass Enugu Rangers at the top of the league standings.

IfeanyiUbah FC now has 19 points from 10 matches while Rangers have now recorded 18 points as they played out a 1-1 draw with MFM FC.
Ivorian player Pascal Seka gave IfeanyiUbah FC a first-half lead from the penalty spot in the 18th minute, when Bright Onyedikachi was brought down inside the penalty box.

Tamen Medrano, Ifeanyi Ubah FC's Cameroonian midfielder gave the home team a comfortable home win when minutes after coming off the bench, struck from 20 yards to double the home team’s advantage.
