NFF To Hire Foreign Coach In Two Weeks

NFF re-confirms Nigeria vs Uganda friendly
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is expected to name a new foreign coach for the Super Eagles within a fortnight.
This was revealed by NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, who also said the incoming manager’s salaries will be footed by a private company.
Samson Siasia has been acting as the interim coach of the national team, since Sunday Oliseh resigned in February.

“We’re going to get a foreign manager for the team,” Pinnick was quoted as sying by Vanguard newspaper.
“And we are going to ensure that Nigeria qualify for the World Cup and do exceedingly well, too.
“We’ll make them utilise all FIFA windows to play quality friendly matches.
“There is nothing to worry about the payment of salary for the foreign manager. His wages are going to be taken care of by the private sector. We’ve concluded that and it will not cost government anything.”

Former Cameroon coach, Paul Le Guen and Claude Le Roy, are some of the coaches that have been linked with the job.
