In continuation of efforts to provide relief to residents of liberated communities in Borno state, officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, North East and the agency’s Mobile Medical Team MMT delivered food and non-food items as well as essential basic needs to GGSS Beinishiek IDP camp in Kaga LGA Borno state.
A statement from NEMA North East Information Officer, Abdulkadir Ibrahim explained that before the presentation, the team met with Brigadier General BA Raji, Commanding Officer 29 Brigade Task Force of Nigerian Army, who is in charge of the satellite IDP camp.
The Camp is hosting people from recently liberated communities around Beinishiek which include Galangi ,Zakurari, Shettimari ,Burma, Jalori ,shettimanuri and walari.
The team also conducted a need assessment to identify the medical supplies needed at the clinic set up by UNICEF to cater for women and children with a view to providing more capacity (Drugs and consumables) to the clinic to enable it cater for all persons with medical issues in the camp.
