Former Nigeria international, John Utaka, has pinpointed John Mikel Obi, as the key player for the Super Eagles, if they are to beat Egypt in their double-header AFCON 2017 qualifiers next week.
The former Ismaily and Portsmouth forward, explained that the Chelsea midfielder has the experience and ability to dominate the middle of the park.
“We have quick players in the attack as well but I think Obi Mikel will be the key to Nigeria’s play because he knows his midfield duties,” Utaka told Kingfut.com

He also picked out Mohammed Salah as the Pharaohs’ danger man and spoke of two of his team-mates who the Eagles should watch out for.
“Mohamed Salah will be dangerous because he is quick and very dangerous on counter attacks,” he added.
“Ahmed Fathy and Amr Gamal have been very impressive.”
