Guardiola Tells City To Put Kompany On Transfer List

Vincent-Kompany-walks-off
Pep Guardiola has asked Manchester City to get rid of captain Vincent Kompany, as he prepares to take charge of the team after this season.
According to the UK Sun, Guardiola, who is still coach of Bayern Munich, has instructed sporting director, Txiki Begiristain, to look for suitors for Kompany, who suffered another calf injury this week.
The 29-year-old defender has been plagued by soft tissue leg injuries, which has seen him make only 19 appearances across all competitions this season.

Guardiola is planning to make massive changes at City and is seriously looking at the central defensive options he say.
Reports suggest the former Barcelona coach, will give the go-ahead for a £80million bif for Everton’s John Stones and Athletic Bilbao’s Aymeric Laporte.
Kompany joined City from Hamburg in 2008 and has guided the club to two Premier League titles, two League Cups and one FA Cup.
