Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Head of Protocol, Ibrahim Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers in his house in Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday.
The football body through their official twitter handle broke the news of Abubakar’s death, which was another loss to the football family in Nigeria.
“NFF’s Head of Protocol Ibrahim Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers in his house in Abuja in the early hours of today”, the statement reads on twitter.
In the meantime, Abubakar’s remains is being taken to Kaduna for Burial according to Muslim rites.
