Beyonce's Lemonade tops Rolling Stone 50 Best Albums of 2016

Sticking with the Rolling Stone for a second and while it's long been one of America's favourite fizzy drinks, it seems that Lemonade is now also the US music mag's favourite record too.

The pop (geddit?) sensation tops their list of 50 best LP's of the year, pipping David Bowie's Blackstar, which comes in second and Chance the Rapper's Coloring Book mixtape in third.

Here's how their top 10 looks in reverse order:

10. Young Thug - Jeffery

9. Leonard Cohen - You Want It Darker

8. Kanye West - The Life of Pablo

7. Rolling Stones - Blue & Lonesome

6. Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool

5. Frank Ocean - Blond

4. Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial

3. Chance the Rapper - Coloring Book

2. David Bowie - Blackstar

1. Beyonce - Lemonade

As you can see, lo-fi indie rockers Car Seat Headrest (who we know 6 Music's Steve Lamacq is a fan of) make a surprise appearance in fourth spot.

So that's good news for any kids making angry music in their bedroom / garage.
