Before Isha could eat whatever else, the sun rises and Isha chooses to fast without eating anything. Isha tells Sam to return home early as she is fasting for him and can break the fast simply after of seeing his face. Sam tells Isha not to observe the fast and even declines to get back home early. Isha gets stunned as Daai Maa tells her that Ira too is fasting for Shravan. Isha goes to meet Ira and inquiries her about it. Ira again behaves impolitely with Isha and requests that her not to meddle in her life. Isha is feeling debilitated yet manages to do the house chores. Ira and Revati feel glad to see Isha in a bad mood.
Revati even informs Ira that Sam has declined to get back home early. Everybody prepares for the Karva Chauth puja. At the office, Sam is going to eat his food when he hears some colleagues discussing the ladies who observe the uneasy fast of Karva Chauth for the long life of their husbands. Sam too doesn't eat anything subsequent to listening to them. Isha is certain that Sam will return home on time and break her fast while then again Ira too prays for the prosperity of Sam.
Girish asks about Sam. Isha lets him know that Sam wouldn't be able to come back early due to work. Girish calls up Sam and requests that he get back home on time to break Isha's fast. Sam says that he has some dire work and wouldn't come home on time. Daai Maa then calls up Sam and persuades him to get back home on time. Sam consents to come and leaves from office. Isha is elated as Daai Maa tells her that Sam is coming home. Ira and Revati get troubled on realizing that Sam is coming home. While on his way back home, a young lady comes in front of Sam's car and requests that he help her. The young lady says that a some goons were hassling her and asks him to help her. Sam agrees to help the young lady and drop her home. Shravan needs to break Isha's fast while Ira needs Sam to break her fast and hence, them two pretend of playing out the rituals. Isha is sitting tight for Sam in the garden when Shravan comes and offers her water. Isha can't see Shravan's face as it is dark because of power failure.
Isha is going to drink the water when the electricity is restored. Isha is stunned to see that the person offering water was Shravan and not Sam. Shravan lies to Isha that he thought Ira was waiting for him in the garden. Isha is pleased as Sam returns home. Isha performs the rituals and Sam offers her water. Isha is going to drink water when the police arrives at Ojha house alongside the young lady whom Sam had given a lift. The young lady accuses Sam of molesting her and Sam is arrested by the police. Sam tries in vain to tell the police that he is innocent. Isha tells Sam that she has full confidence in him and realizes that he can never do any such thing. Isha, Girish and Daai Maa excessively surge, making it impossible to the police station to save Sam. Revati is sure that Sam can never do any such terrible act. Ira confesses in front of Revati that she had planted the young lady so Sam doesn't reach on time to break Isha's fast. Revati is stunned and appalled. Revati gets incensed with Ira and asks her to get Sam out from this trouble as quickly as possible. Ira fears that on the off chance that if she confesses she may lose Sam forever. Ira is in a fix.
Girish, Daai Maa and Isha reach at the police station to bail Sam out. The inspector declines to discharge Sam expressing that he has been arrested for a non-bailable offense. Isha tells the police inspector that the young lady is lying and attempting to frame Sam. The young lady expresses that she had harmed her foot due to which she needed to take a lift from Sam.
