Durgadevi feels that Siddharth is cheating on her Daughter Roshni and she some way or another gives Roshni a chance to discover that Siddharth had purchased two diamond rings and not only one. Then, Siddharth asked Pratima to go along with him for shopping and she agrees. Later, Roshni goes to the jewelry shop and she discovers Siddharth's phone with Pratima and tempests out of the shop. Later "nani" tries to invite Siddharth for dinner alongside Roshni to a five star hotel yet Siddharth refuses. Later, Roshni is stunned to see Siddharth in the same hotel alongside Pratima. Roshni goes behind Siddharth yet when she reaches him, Pratima manages to disappear and when Roshni tries to enquire with Siddharth around a girl with him, he instantly denies being with any girl.
Siddharth's parents gift a pair of golden bangles to Roshni and she quickly starts considering Siddharth's involvement with Pratima. She later requests that Siddharth's mom put the bangles staring her in the face as opposed to giving Siddharth a chance to do it. In the interim, Durgadevi is disturbed that Roshni is blindly believing in Siddharth although according to her Siddharth is cheating Roshni. Simply then "nani" goes into the room and she asked Durgadevi to for a change and leave her ego beside and support her daughter's love for Siddharth, however Durgadevi continues to act naturally. Siddharth later speaks to Pratima secretly at the office and Durgadevi hears their discussion. She hears them looking at meeting at a Durga temple and keeping in mind the end goal to bring the truth out about Siddharth, she changes the venue of 'Karva Chauth' function and requests that everyone go to the Durga temple.
