NCC holds consultative forum on roaming services

      

NCC orders MTN to stop new tariff plan
The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has invited all industry stakeholders to a Consultative Forum holding at its headquarters on Thursday to chart the way forward for the provision of National Roaming Services in the country.
A statement signed by NCC’s Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Tony Ojobo explained that the forum is in line with the practice of industry-wide consultations in carrying out its regulatory functions.
The statement reads, “In line with the practice of industry-wide consultations in carrying out its regulatory functions the Commission in December 2015 published a Consultation Paper in order to garner industry perspective towards developing a regulatory instrument for the provision of National Roaming Services in Nigeria.

“Further to this, all industry stakeholders are hereby invited to a Consultative Forum to chart the way forward for the the provision of National Roaming Services in Nigeria.
